Each week, two Rotarians are allocated to the duty of Registrations.
These are the duties:-
- One Rotarian will obtain a club members list and record, collect and balance payment of weekly meal costs and provide Sergeant at Arms with a list of guests and visiting Rotarians.
- The sheet recording those attending will be handed to the Treasurer, with money collected for the meals.
- The second Rotarian will greet other Rotarians and guests, upon payment of their meal cost, supply them with their dinner badge or visiting Rotarian with a make-up card, and introduce visitors to other Rotarians.
- Rotarians appointed to this duty should arrive at 6pm
- To save embarrassment in regards payment of meals, the only non payment for meals are the following:
The current District Governor and partner, at any visit to the club
The current Assistant District Governor, at any visit to the club
The Guest Speaker, for that weeks meeting
Honorary members pay meal costs
At any club organised function, organised and advised prior to the meeting, i.e. Pride of workmanship Awards – Only the recipients will have their meal paid, and accompanying partners must pay. Any exceptions to these rules must have prior approval of the President
